Dixivox Launched SMS Emergency Service In Partnership with Safe America Foundation and Digicel Haiti

Last year, Safe America presented international businessman Denis O’Brien with its 2011 ‘WorldSafe Leadership Award’ during a meeting in New York City.

Now, CEO Corps Chairman Martin Swarbrick noted that the firm has begun implementation of a ‘Multi-Party Emergency Notification System’ (or MP/ENS, for short!). This new phone application allows Haitian cell phone subscribers to pre-load 5 numbers that - during an emergency - can simultaneously receive a text message. The new cell message system was supported by Safe America’s WorldSafe initiative and is the first step in broadening the means of protecting people globally with advanced cell phone applications. Both Swarbrick and CEO Len Pagano thanked Mr. O’Brien, David Sharpe and Harry Casimir (Dixivox) for helping build upon the outstanding work that O’Brien engineered in early 2010 after the Haiti earthquake.
